  I had an appointment that I cancelled on 10/11/16 (giving the required 24 hour notice). Soon after I got a bill for $25.00 missed appointment fee, I called them and they said not to worry about it. A couple months later, I get a collections notice stating that this same charge is overdue and I need to pay it ASAP. To end this nonsense, I paid it to Ellis Medicine. Another month and I get another collections letter. I call up the firm and tell them that I have paid this. They explained to me that there is a "list" from Ellis that updates monthly, not to worry and I'll be taken off the list.
  
  Today (8/25/17), I get a letter from the collections agency stating that this charge is "long overdue". Apparently Ellis Medicine neglected to update their "list" or something. I am sick of being charged again and again for something I have already paid. This is pure incompetence on Ellis Medicine's part. I agree with the above reviews, the tension when you walk in is palatable, the care is inadequate and the caring, assistive atmosphere is gone.
